Council Precept & Budget

Each year Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council sets a budget for the year ahead this is used to set the council Precept, this is the amount Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council asks from Westmorland and Furness Council as a prersentage of the Council Tax paid by householders of the Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council area. Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council uses the precept, to provide services and deliver for our community.

2023/24 BUDGET

Sockbridge and Tirril Parish Council approved a budget for the year commencing on 1 April 2024 and set a precept of £7,800.00 to fund delivery of Council services for our community.
